The Press

Fictional newsrooms covering a fictional country — written entirely by members of this community.

These outlets are fictional

Every newsroom below was created by and for this roleplay community. None of them is affiliated with, licensed by, or connected to any real broadcaster, newspaper or wire service, and nothing they publish is real reporting about real people or real events. They exist to cover a simulated country.

How it works

Written by members, published by editors

Each newsroom runs on the same publishing system: reporters draft, an editor reviews, and the piece goes live with a byline and a dateline. Corrections are issued publicly, the same as anywhere that takes itself seriously.

  • Every article covers in-universe events only.
  • Bylines are character names, never real identities.
  • Slant is allowed. Fabricating quotes from other members is not.
  • Editors answer to the community rules before their editorial line.

We are hiring, in character

Reporters, anchors, editors and columnists. If you would rather cover politics than run for something, this is your way in — and it is usually the fastest way to learn the country.
