Membership is the roster. It is what gets you into the Capitol when the floor opens.

Pick a lane
A party, a state, a newsroom, a clerkship, a campaign staff. You can change your mind later; almost everyone does.

Show up to a session
Watch one from the gallery before you speak, if you would rather. Then write something and put it on the calendar.

Roles for newcomers
Reporter
File for Eagle Wire. You learn the country twice as fast when you have to explain it to someone else.
Campaign staff
Message, strategy, endorsements and turnout for someone else's race. Underrated and always needed.
Clerk or counsel
Work the courts: research, briefs and oral argument. For people who like being right in writing.
Cabinet staff
Run a department, file its reports, and defend its record when the press comes asking.
Archivist
Keep the wiki. Every election and ruling needs someone who writes it down properly.

Non-toxic, and we mean it
USAI was founded on the idea that you can argue hard about a fictional country and still be decent to the person on the other side of the screen. The rules below are not decorative — moderation enforces them.
- In character is in character. Never carry a dispute back to the person.
- No harassment, slurs, or targeting anyone over who they are.
- No real-world political campaigning, fundraising or advocacy. This is a simulation of a fictional country.
- Keep everything appropriate for the Roblox audience: no explicit, graphic or mature content anywhere in the community.
- Never share personal information — yours or anyone else's — in character or out.
- No hate symbols or extremist content, in roleplay or out of it.
- Roblox and Discord rules come first. Where ours are stricter, ours apply.
A note for parents
What this community is
USAI is a text-and-voice roleplay about a fictional country modelled loosely on American civics. Members write legislation, hold debates, run mock elections and publish fictional news.
There is no real-world political affiliation, no fundraising, and no real news reporting. Moderators are active on both Discord and Roblox, and all members are held to the Roblox Community Standards.
