Roblox political roleplay · Founded December 2024
The American Ideal
A full-scale simulation of American politics. Bills are written, debated and voted. Candidates campaign for real seats. A free press covers every word of it — and every one of those words is written by a member.
In world
A country that meets in person
Sessions, hearings, ceremonies and rallies happen inside our Roblox experiences — with the people who hold the offices standing where you would expect to find them.
What happens here
Three institutions, one country
Everything in USAI runs on the loop a real republic runs on: someone proposes, someone opposes, someone reports it, and voters settle it.
The Government
A working legislature with committees, a floor calendar and recorded votes. An executive that signs, vetoes and appoints. A bench that hears challenges and can strike a bad law down.
The Press
Newsrooms with their own editors and their own slant. They break the story before the floor hears it, and hold officials to what they said last session.
The Ballot Box
Campaign seasons with announcements, endorsements, debates and a scheduled vote. No appointments to the seats that matter — you earn them from the people already here.
Our story
Started in December 2024
The American Ideal was founded by Peter and Mason with one goal: a political roleplay that takes itself seriously without taking itself too far.
Plenty of Roblox politics servers collapse into shouting, or into a group chat with a flag on it. USAI was built the other way around — the institutions came first, the rules were written down, and the culture followed. Debate hard in character, stay decent out of it.

An encyclopedia of our own
Every administration, session, election and landmark case is documented on the community wiki — written and maintained by members, in character.
It is the fastest way to understand where the country stands before your first day.

Read the country's wire service
Eagle Wire is our in-universe news agency and the first newsroom open to the public. It is a fictional outlet covering a fictional country.
Eagle Wire
Short, fast, unadorned copy on the record. If it happened on the floor, the Wire filed it first.
Getting in
Newcomers start on Discord
You do not need a title, a background in politics or a friend on the inside. Read the primer, pick a lane, and someone will walk you through your first session.
- No application essay. Introduce yourself and you are in.
- Every office is elected or appointed in character, not sold.
- Moderation is active, and out-of-character conduct rules come first.
On Roblox
Where the country actually meets
Sessions, hearings, ceremonies and rallies happen inside our experiences. The community group is the roster: ranks follow the offices you hold in character.
Debate on the record
Committees, a floor calendar and recorded votes. Every word is written in character by a member.
An administration that answers
Departments file reports, cabinet officers take questions, and the record follows them to the next election.
Service in uniform
Protective details, agency leadership and the everyday posts that keep the simulation running.
