IdealUSAI
A full-scale simulation of American politics on Roblox. Bills are written, debated and voted. Candidates campaign for real seats. A free press covers every word of it — and every one of those words is written by a member.
What happens here
Three institutions, one country
Everything in USAI runs on the same loop a real republic runs on: someone proposes, someone opposes, someone reports it, and voters settle it.
The Government
A working legislature with committees, a floor calendar and recorded votes. An executive that signs, vetoes and appoints. A bench that hears challenges and can strike a bad law down. Every text is written in character by a member.
The Press
Newsrooms with their own editors, style and slant. They break the story before the floor hears it, hold officials to what they said last session, and give the whole simulation a public record.
The Ballot Box
Campaign seasons with announcements, endorsements, debates and a scheduled vote. No appointments to the seats that matter — you earn them from the people already here.
Our story
Started in December 2024
The American Ideal was founded by Peter and Mason with one goal: a political roleplay that takes itself seriously without taking itself too far.
Plenty of Roblox politics servers collapse into shouting or into a group chat with a flag on it. USAI was built the other way around — the institutions came first, the rules were written down, and the culture followed. Debate hard in character, stay decent out of it.

Getting in
Newcomers start on Discord
You do not need a title, a background in politics or a friend on the inside. Read the primer, pick a lane — a party, a state, a newsroom, a clerkship — and someone will walk you through your first session.
- No application essay. Introduce yourself and you are in.
- Every office is elected or appointed in character, not sold.
- Moderation is active, and out-of-character conduct rules come first.
